I am a single parent of three, an artist and social worker.  When painting, I utilize all mediums, depending on the subject matter and my mood.  Painting is a wonderful way of expression without words.  I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories.

I have a Masters degree in social work and incorporate art into treatment as it helps in understanding and promoting change. 

I teach art through Freshwater Arts in Waterville, Maine.  I am the president of the Waterville Area Art Society, and a member of Up Country artists and the Kennebec Valley Art Association.  My work is in various private collections and has won a number of awards.
