Saskia Reinholt
Saskia is a colorist, mutli-media artist, and art teacher. She loves to paint barn quilts, murals, and oil paintings. She designs and prints original silkscreens and dabbles in stained glass arts. Her artistic endeavors are often influenced by geometry found in nature, known as the Golden ratio. Her love of color schemes is inspired by the natural environment through reflections of sunsets, sunrises, plants, and landscapes. She lives in Phillips, Maine with her husband and two children.
Saskia is a founding director of the High Peaks Creative Council, created the Maine Barn Quilt Trail, co-founded Kingfield Artwalk, and founded the High Peaks Artisan Guild art gallery in Kingfield, Maine. She serves on the Maine Arts Commission and the Maine Community Foundation Western Mountains Advisory Committee. Her artwork has been exhibited in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Hawaii.
