Our popular, annual, juried two-day Sugarloaf Art Show is held at Sugarloaf Mountain during Skiers Homecoming in Carrabassett Valley during peak foliage. You must be a member of UCA in order to participate in our Sugarloaf Art Show.
The show is held at Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley during peak foliage and skiers homecoming. It is heavily marketed, and our goal is to grow it into a major showcase for rural and western Maine. artists.
Current UCA members are invited to apply for the show first. Show applications and the jurying process open in June prior to each year's October show.

Vendors will have a variety of different payment methods ranging from Apple Pay, Square Pay, credit/debit cards, to cash. We recommend bringing cards and cash just to be on the safe side.
Sugarloaf has ATMs if needed.

Timeline and Show Info
Every artists is juried in every year. This keeps the show fresh.
May 20th - Application is available to members
June 30th - Applications due
July 17th - Jury notifications will be emailed to artists
July 18th - If space allows, the application will be available to non-members
October 9th - Vendor set up from 2-6pm
October 10th - Vendor set up from 7-9am. Show runs from 9am - 5pm.
October 11th - We hold our annual UpCountry Artists Member meeting at 8am in the King Pine Room. Show runs from 9am - 4pm. Vendor load out 4pm - 6pm.
Costs
UpCountry Artists membership fee, $25 individual or $35 family. Dues for the coming year must accompany your show application.
$100 booth fee will be charged upon acceptance into the show.
5% of sales will be changed at the close of show on Sunday, Oct. 11 2026. These proceeds go directly to the UpCountry Artists Scholarship Fund.
