UpCountry Artists Scholarship Program
UpCountry Artists is pleased to announce that two or more scholarships will be awarded to area students ( Franklin, Somerset and Oxford counties) who are seeking a degree in a two to four college program in fine or commercial art or fine craft.
Under the program, there will be at least two $ 1,500 scholarships awarded each year.
This year we will also accept applications from students who are already enrolled in an institution of higher learning.
Guidelines for Students Currently enrolled in College Level Art Institutions
These students must include a letter from the financial aid counselor from their arts institute indicating their financial need and a recommendation attesting to their deservedness.
Transcript of all coursework up to the present.
An essay that covers how this scholarship will help them in the pursuit of their artistic career.
Program Guidelines & Priorities for high school seniors:

Seeking graduating seniors that desire an advanced art degree in either art, craft or art education.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college/university majoring in the arts.

Applicants must have the endorsement of their Guidance Counselor on their application attesting they are a qualified fit for this scholarship program and submit a letter of recommendation from the personal teaching staff.

The application deadline is May 10 by 11:59 p.m. to be received by UpCountry Artists, Late applications are not accepted.
